Recap

From the 1st to the 6th of December, AS Zagreb hosted the Ideathon 2024 Finale, following the first phase in Toulouse.

The event’s sponsors: ANSYS, Eurocontrol and IGA assigned to the participants the challenges they had to solve for the following 48 hours. All the teams showcased their ideas bringing together different skills and technical knowledge. One team among all stood out, AVION from AS Patras who took first place in the competition, congrats!

It was not all about the challenge, the participants also had the opportunity to relax and visit the Technical Museum Nikola Tesla, Zagreb’s historical city centre and a traditional Croatian dinner.

Headquartered in the aviation capital of Europe, EUROAVIA Toulouse AS strives to bring together students from some of the main aviation universities in Europe. We are building a network of like-minded individuals who share the same passion for aviation.
EUROAVIA Zagreb is a non-profit student organisation with its headquarters located on the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FMENA) in Zagreb. We are a part of the European Association of Aerospace Students (EUROAVIA), which consists of 42 countries across Europe and many more from around the world. We were established in 1999. with aim to connect students and aerospace industries in our region. We currently have 20 members, who are from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing.

İGA Academy

İGA Academy is an aviation academy accredited by ICAO, ACI, IATA, EUROCONTROL and TSA. Also, there are signature trainings such as Accessibility, Sustainability, Women Leadership, Security trainings and Turkish Hospitality trainings. In addition to these trainings, we have more than 8 sister airports and it has secondment programmes with them. Also, it has own Aviation management program with the partner universities.  In addition, there are also personal development and training programmes for its own employees.
